Main Function
Ensure the security of the vessel, its cargo, crew, and visitors.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS).
Proven competence and full qualification for maritime security.
Strong ability to recognize, understand, and deal with potential security threats.
Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills, with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
Above-average physical fitness.
Maritime experience is an advantage.
English language skills (written and oral) are required.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain the ship’s security, ensuring the implementation of the Ship Security Plan (SSP) and all security procedures.
Responsible for gangway security and access control.
Conduct inspections and regular patrols of restricted, controlled, and vulnerable areas.
Operate and manage CCTV recording and monitoring equipment.
Monitor surveillance cameras and compile statements and reports.
Report all crimes, incidents, and safeguarding issues.
Pay: €3700 per month.
Experience:
1 year in military, police, army, airport security, or customs (required).
Language:
English (required).
