Responsibilities
Tasks:

Demonstrate professionalism in customer service
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods
Obtain special permits and other documents required for international routes
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials:

AZ class license

Experience and Specialisation:

Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trans-border documentation, Trip reports

Transportation/Travel Experience:

Long-haul, Provincial/territorial
