Qualifications for Internship Program applicants

• Not over 32 years old at the date of the visa interview
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s – master’s degree or completed no more than 1 year in the field of study for which you wish to apply for an internship.
• Project duration: Culinary/ Hospitality 6-12 months
• Project duration : Graphic design/ Business 12 months

Trainee Program Qualifications

• Not over 32 years old at the date of the visa interview
• Graduated from 1 year or more
• Have work experience in the field of study and require an internship at least 1 year
• If you graduated from the field, you must have 5 years of experience.
• Project duration: Culinary /Hospitality 6-12 months
• Project duration : Graphic design/ Business 12-18 months

How long can the internship be?

If you go to practice, how many days will you work? And how many hours will you get?

Internship 5-6 days a week with 1-2 days off. Average internship hours are 32-40 hours per week.

What type of visa is required to join the program?

J-1 Visa Type Internship/ Trainee

How do you pay at work? Can it be monthly or not?

Most of them are paid Bi-weekly, i.e. money issued every 2 weeks by check or bank system.

Can we go together as a group?

You can make a request and apply for a group interview for the kitchen line only. However, the acceptance of interviews and internships depends on the consideration of the establishment only. For other fields of work, requests can be made, but the interview call and acceptance are subject to the consideration of the establishment only.

Can I travel after the internship?

After the visa expires, you can travel in the country legally for no more than 30 days.

Can I apply for a work visa after the internship?

You can reach out to the sponsoring US Designated Sponsor for advice and assistance.

What documents are required to open a bank account in the US?

Use Passport, DS-2019, Social Security Number, Address and Phone Number, Minimum amount for account opening. (about $25-$100 depending on the bank)

To open numbers in the United States, which network should be used?

It depends on each location which network has the most signal. The main networks available in the US are AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, H2O, and Lyca.

After returning to Thailand, how can I make a tax refund?

Wait for the W-2 Form sent directly from the responsible US government agency to be sent directly to the program participants at the address listed on the W-4 Form, which will be filled out on the date of commencement. Work when receiving the W-2 Form and submit the documents to the company that accepts the next tax refund.
